Why did I create this?
Well, a few years ago I wanted a really good spice.
There are some pretty good ones on the market, but none of them were quite exactly what I wanted, so I bought myself some onion powder, garlic powder, and some herbs and spices and created myself one.
It tasted horrible!
When I tasted the individual components I realized the onion and garlic powders were horrible, so I started making my own.
You think chopping onions make you cry?
Try putting one in a blender and hitting liquefy!
Over time my assorted spices got pretty good, but for simplicity I developed my onion powder, to be used as a base for most of my spices.
My friends kept saying how I should sell it like it is, so finally I took some to work and started taste-testing it on my customers.
When two of them gave me their business cards in the first week and asking me to let them know when it was available for sale, I started to take it seriously.
During these taste-tests I realized that instead of breathing fire, you could actually taste the flavor of the different peppers.
After tasting the hottest pepper in the world many people said "Sweet," or "Fruity."
One guy even said, "with notes of chocolate."
I realized you could actually have pepper tastings, just like wine, beer, or even cheese tastings!
I started looking into it and wondered why I'd never heard of it before.
I did some Google searches looking for something like it and couldn't find anything!
If Google doesn't know about it, it pretty much doesn't exist, right?
